Salman Khan recently made his debut on his nephew Arhaan Khan’s YouTube podcast, Dumb Biryani, where he shared a terrifying near-death experience he had while traveling abroad with Sonakshi Sinha and his brother Sohail Khan.
Salman recalled that while returning from an award show, their flight encountered severe turbulence that lasted for over 45 minutes. While many passengers were terrified, Sohail remained completely unfazed and slept through the entire ordeal. “We were coming back from IIFA Sri Lanka, and everything was fine at first. But then the turbulence hit. At first, it was just a little bump, but then the noise grew louder, and the whole plane went silent. Sohail and I were on the same flight, and when I looked at him, he was fast asleep. The turbulence continued for 45 minutes,” Salman shared.
The actor admitted that he grew scared when he saw the pilot and air hostess looking tense. “I looked at the air hostess, and she was praying. That’s when I thought, ‘Oh no!’ Even the pilots, who are usually calm, seemed worried. Then the oxygen masks dropped, and I thought, ‘I’ve only seen this in movies!’ After 45 minutes, things settled, and people started laughing again. Sonakshi and her mom were also on the flight. But then, the turbulence hit again for another 10 minutes, and everyone stopped laughing. From then until we landed, nobody said a word. But as soon as we landed, everyone walked off like they were superheroes,” he added.
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently filming for his upcoming action drama, *Sikandar*. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film features a star-studded cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
