Parineeti Chopra is preparing for the theatrical launch of her forthcoming movie ‘Mission Raniganj.’ According to Bollywood Hungama, the film revolves around a group of miners trapped in a mine, with time ticking away, and their desperate need for rescue. The report also notes that the filmmakers have concentrated primarily on the main storyline to maintain a high level of interest and tension, resulting in Parineeti Chopra having minimal screen time, approximately 10 minutes, in the film.
Sharing the picture, Akshay wrote, “There’s nothing more #Keemti than love @parineetichopra ,here’s a gift for your special day, coming tomorrow.”
‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ is based on the real-life story of the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989, in West Bengal. While Akshay plays Jaswant Singh Gill in the film, Parineeti plays his wife Nirdosh Kaur Gill.
Apart from Akshay and Parineeti, the film also stars Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena and Shishir Sharma in pivotal roles.
