Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha initially explained his absence from her Mumbai wedding on social media but has since removed the post.
Previously featured in ‘Gadar 2’ alongside Sunny Deol, Luv Sinha had expressed disapproval of his sister’s marriage to Zaheer Iqbal on X. He accompanied his statement with a news article, emphasizing, “Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me, my family will always come first.”
Later, Luv Sinha deleted the original post and clarified that a quote mistakenly attributed to him in a subsequent tweet was actually from a senior journalist’s article. He asserted, “The quote that is being incorrectly attributed to me is not my statement, and was written in an article by a senior journalist. The matter is now closed, and I will not be commenting on it any further.”
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were married on June 23 in Mumbai under the Special Marriage Act of the Indian Constitution. Despite the presence of notable figures from the film industry at the celebrations, her twin brothers Luv and Kush did not attend.
