Actor and comedian Krushna Abhishek has confirmed the upcoming marriage of his sister, Arti Singh, a former contestant on Bigg Boss 13 and TV actress, to her boyfriend Dipak Chauhan. The announcement was made by Krushna during the launch event of the 10th season of the show OMG! Yeh Mera India, where he serves as the host. The couple, who have been in a relationship for a year, are reportedly planning to tie the knot in either April or May. Krushna disclosed this exciting news during a lavish event held on a yacht, seizing the perfect opportunity to share Arti’s wedding plans. When pressed for specifics about the wedding arrangements, Krushna hinted that official details would follow later and humorously remarked on his hope for Arti to manage expenses wisely.
One notable aspect is Krushna’s confirmation that their uncle, Bollywood superstar Govinda, and aunt Sunita will be the first recipients of the wedding invitation. Despite past disagreements within the family, Krushna expressed optimism regarding their unity for Arti’s special day, asserting that Govinda will undoubtedly attend the wedding.
Arti is contemplating hosting the wedding in April or May, depending on the availability of her preferred venue in Mumbai. In contrast to the trend of destination weddings, Arti intends to celebrate close to home.
Last year, Krushna hinted on Instagram his willingness to reconcile. Praising his uncle as an inspiration, Krushna shared a video clip of Govinda’s energetic dance performance on a chat show, captioning it as “Isse better video nahin ho sakta. Stage on fire.” On the professional front, Krushna recently made a guest appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 17’ and continues to portray the character of Sapna on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Meanwhile, Arti has returned to acting after a hiatus of three years, portraying a negative character in Shemaroo Umang’s ‘Ummeed Ki Roshni Shravani’.
