Her mother-in-law’s appearance on the show stirred up attention for unfavorable reasons, as she accused the actress of conflicts with Vicky and defended her son. Addressing the matter, Ankita asserted that her actions were driven by her love for Vicky.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Ankita defended her mother-in-law’s intentions, stating that while some may have misinterpreted her actions, she understood her family’s love for her. She acknowledged her mother-in-law’s emotional outburst on the show but emphasized that they have since resolved the issue privately.

In a separate interview with Galatta India, Ankita revealed her father-in-law’s initial displeasure towards both her and Vicky Jain. However, she assured that the matter has been resolved, and they plan to visit him to discuss the show further.
