Bollywood couple Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap celebrated their wedding on November 1, 2008, after several years of dating. In 2022, Tahira’s early anniversary wish for her husband became a viral sensation on social media.
Recently, Tahira shared a heartfelt post featuring cherished wedding photos and referenced her anniversary message from 2022.
On November 1, she and Ayushmann commemorated their 16th wedding anniversary with a joint Instagram post, showcasing beautiful images from their wedding, including mehendi celebrations.
In her caption, she wrote, “It has been quite a journey! From Shri Ganesh portraits, red zebra flowers as backdrop, contrived poses… it’s been a long journey… Happy Anniversary @ayushmannk (making up for wishing you on the wrong date last year). ‘When you celebrate cringe you truly are in love’ – Tahira.”
Vikrant Massey commented, “Happy Anniversary you beautiful couple!” while Ektaa Kapoor left red heart emojis in the comments.
In 2022, Tahira accidentally wished Ayushmann a day early, posting on October 31. After a friend reminded her of the correct date, she humorously acknowledged her mistake on Instagram, stating, “Not taking it down because I would have to post tomorrow as well. Sorry Ayushmann, I tried though.”
Ayushmann responded by sharing Tahira’s confession and wrote, “Now what should I say? Happy anniversary in advance.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, have two children: son Virajveer and daughter Varushka.
On the professional front, Ayushmann has joined Maddock Productions for Dinesh Vijan’s film *Thama*, which is described as the first love story in the Stree-Verse, featuring vampires. The cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara.
Meanwhile, Tahira recently directed *Sharmajee Ki Beti*, featuring actors like Saiyami Kher, Divya Dutta, and Sakshi Tanwar.
