The murder of Baba Siddique has sent shockwaves through Bollywood. Siddique, a close associate of several celebrities, including Salman Khan, was shot dead in Mumbai’s Bandra area on October 12.
A Facebook page linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the attack, which follows ongoing threats to Salman Khan’s life from the same gang. As a result, Salman’s security has been significantly heightened, restricting anyone from gathering or taking photos near his home.
In response to the murder, security measures around Salman Khan’s residence have been intensified. A heavy police presence is now stationed outside his Galaxy Apartment, and fans are prohibited from stopping or taking pictures. Media personnel are also banned from filming in the area.
Additionally, security has been bolstered with the installation of CCTV cameras to monitor the surroundings. Following Siddique’s death, Salman has been assigned Y-security, and an escort vehicle now accompanies him at all times. SRPF officers have also been stationed outside both his Galaxy Apartment and his Panvel farmhouse. In light of recent events, Salman has canceled all meetings and advised his Bollywood colleagues to avoid visiting him for the time being.
On the professional front, Salman Khan is currently filming *Sikander*, where he stars alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film is expected to be released during Eid 2025. Salman is also hosting *Bigg Boss 18*, and he has several upcoming projects, including *Tiger vs. Pathaan*, *Kick 2*, *Dabangg 4*, *Big Bull*, and *Babbar Sher*.
