Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha recently attracted attention with the news that she is selling her first Mumbai home, a decision that sparked considerable discussion.
This property is particularly meaningful as it is where Sonakshi and her partner, actor and real estate developer Zaheer Iqbal, held their wedding.
The apartment is situated in Bandra West, a favored area among Bollywood stars.
Initially, it was reported that Sonakshi had acquired a new apartment on a different floor in the same building where she got married. However, a source has now clarified the true reason for the sale.
Sonakshi is reportedly moving to a larger residence in a building being developed by Zaheer, prompting her decision to sell her current home and move in with him.
Although the apartment she is selling is emotionally significant, Sonakshi had previously expressed its importance to her. In an earlier interview, she mentioned, “It was because of my dad (Shatrughan Sinha) that I wanted to buy my own house. It’s a 1 BHK apartment at Bandstand. For him, it’s like his palace.”
Zaheer Iqbal, who is also involved in real estate development, has been relatively low-profile in this regard. The couple’s new home is anticipated to be a major upgrade, reflecting their future plans together.
