Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji remain an enduring on-screen duo in Bollywood, captivating audiences since their memorable debut together in Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and continuing to enchant in subsequent films like Chalte Chalte, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and others.
Recently, at a Mumbai awards ceremony, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani were spotted together on the red carpet, both elegantly attired in black. Shah Rukh Khan cut a suave figure in a black suit, while Rani exuded timeless elegance in a black chiffon sari paired with a sequined blouse, accentuated by diamond danglers and loose hair. Greeting her with a warm hug and air kisses, Shah Rukh Khan joined Rani for photographs amidst the paparazzi.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan had surprised fans alongside Rani Mukerji at special screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai last year, commemorating the film’s 25th anniversary in 2023. Among the viral videos from the event, one particular clip stole the limelight, showing Shah Rukh gallantly holding the pallu of Rani’s saree to prevent it from getting dirty or trampled.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan enjoyed a stellar 2023 with three successful releases: Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, along with winning the CNN-News18 Indian Of The Year accolade. His upcoming projects include Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller King and Tiger Vs Pathaan.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji, last seen in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, is set to star in the sequel to Mardaani 2, slated to commence filming in 2024.
