Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are among the most adored pairs in the film industry. After a period of dating, they decided to take their relationship further by marrying.
They exchanged vows at their home in April 2022, surrounded by family and friends. That same year, Alia and Ranbir welcomed their daughter, Raha, who quickly became a favorite among fans for her charming behavior.
Riddhima Kapoor recently shared some heartwarming insights about Raha and revealed how the arrival of the little one has transformed their lives. Speaking with Anushka Arora, Riddhima mentioned that the Kapoor family has grown closer following the death of her father, Rishi Kapoor, who passed away from cancer in 2020. She noted:
“I believe we’ve become more united since then. We take better care of each other and support one another more, which has strengthened our family bonds. This sense of closeness extends beyond my immediate family to our extended relatives as well.”
Riddhima also talked about her frequent interactions with family members, noting that they stay in touch regularly despite not seeing each other daily. She described her niece Raha as “my strawberry” and shared that Raha calls her “Boo.”
In the same interview, Riddhima mentioned that her daughter, Samara, refers to Ranbir as “RK,” a nickname the actor prefers over “Mamu” or “Uncle.” She praised Raha’s cuteness and shared that Raha adores her Shih Tzu, Killian, often affectionately calling him by various names.
Riddhima further commented on Raha’s resemblance to her parents, Alia and Ranbir, and noted that the baby bears traits of both her mother and late grandfather, Rishi Kapoor. She described Raha as a delightful baby and observed that she resembles a mix of Alia and Rishi, adding:
“It’s fascinating because Samara resembles my brother a lot. Raha combines features of Alia and my father, Rishi. She is incredibly cute and a well-behaved baby.”
