Prince Harry’s UK Return for Invictus Games Overshadowed by Missed Reunion with Father, King Charles.

Prince Harry returned to the UK ahead of a special Invictus Games event but missed the chance to see his father, King Charles, due to the King’s busy schedule.

The Duke of Sussex expressed his desire to reunite with his father, especially after his recent health scare, but logistical constraints prevented it. Harry, 39, made the trip alone while Meghan and their children remained in LA

He won’t be staying at Buckingham Palace but at a London hotel since he no longer has Frogmore Cottage after stepping down as a working royal in 2020. Despite the absence of immediate family members, Harry is expected to deliver a speech at St Paul’s Cathedral tomorrow. This event marks one of several planned in the UK and abroad. After three days in the UK, Harry will fly to Nigeria, where Meghan will join him, skipping the UK events. This marks Harry’s first visit to Britain since February, and there are no indications of meetings with Prince William or Kate Middleton during his stay. Despite the circumstances, Harry seemed upbeat at the Invictus-related events

In Nigeria, both Harry and Meghan will address the games, with uncertainty about whether their children will accompany them. Meghan is expected to fly directly to Nigeria from California. Harry reflected on the growth of the Invictus Games Foundation, expressing pride in its evolution into an international symbol of courage, resilience, and unity.
