Poonam Dhillon recently posted a series of exclusive videos and photos from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, describing it as the most lavish and well-coordinated event of the decade.
The veteran actress highlighted the warmth and hospitality of the Ambani family, noting how Radhika sweetly inquired about Dhillon’s daughter. Poonam mentioned Nita Ambani’s insistence that she eat before leaving, which she found particularly touching.
Taking to Instagram, Poonam shared her impressions of the wedding, writing, “The grandest, most well-organized wedding of the decade I think… what made it even more beautiful was the warmth of the Family.. specially Nita jis very warmly insisting .. Khana kha ke jaana & telling staff .. make sure she eats dinner. Radhika’s sweet way of asking why Paloma my daughter has not come…. In spite of them being on their feet for Hours .. meeting thousands of friends . Kudos to the warm hospitable gracious hosts they are .. including Mukesh Ji. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony on July 12 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre. The star-studded event was attended by numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, as well as international personalities like Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Mike Tyson, John Cena, and David Beckham.
The wedding also saw the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several political figures including Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Following the main ceremony on July 12, they hosted a ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13, followed by a reception or ‘Mangal Utsav’ on July 14.
