PAWS Extends Aid to Earthquake-Affected Animals in Myanmar

In the wake of the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, countless lives have been impacted — including those of animals who are injured, displaced, and in urgent need of assistance.

Responding to the crisis, PAWS (Plant & Animals Welfare Society) has partnered with the Myanmar-based NGO Let’s Save Strays International to support on-ground rescue operations for affected dogs, cats, and livestock. The organization has already dispatched $500 in aid through its international network and is preparing to send further assistance in the coming week.

“PAWS has always stood by animals in times of crisis — whether natural or man-made. This time, we’re supporting the tireless efforts of rescue teams working in difficult conditions in Myanmar,” said a spokesperson for PAWS.

The funds are being used to provide essential supplies such as pet food, emergency medicines, and veterinary care. With 25 years of dedicated service in animal welfare, PAWS is calling on supporters and animal lovers to contribute to this cause.

How to Help:
Donations can be made via GPay at 9820161114. Every contribution, big or small, will help bring relief to the voiceless victims of this disaster.
