Actress Parineeti Chopra and her husband, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha, were seen together in Mumbai, where they visited the revered Siddivinayak Temple, seeking blessings. This visit coincides with reports of Raghav undergoing eye surgery in the UK.
Their appearance marks the first public sighting of the couple in over two months. Parineeti looked elegant in an off-white salwar suit, while Raghav wore a simple white kurta pyjama. They graciously greeted the paparazzi with folded hands upon entering and leaving the temple. Raghav wore dark sunglasses, possibly to shield his eyes.
During their visit, Raghav also ensured his wife’s safety amidst the crowd gathered outside the temple. His absence during the Lok Sabha elections had prompted questions, but an AAP minister clarified that he was in the UK seeking treatment for a serious eye condition that threatened his vision.
Meanwhile, Parineeti is enjoying the success of her recent film, “Chamkila,” released on Netflix in April. The movie, starring Diljit Dosanjh as the titular character and Parineeti as his wife, received acclaim for her nuanced portrayal. Parineeti expressed gratitude to the audience for their acceptance after her hiatus from films.
