The Ambani family recently showcased their lavish collection of jewelry at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, featuring notable pieces from Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and Shloka Mehta.
Anant Ambani’s wedding sarpech has garnered significant attention online as one of the highlights of the event.
Nita Ambani’s involvement in crafting Anant’s sarpech stands out. Designed by the esteemed jeweler Kantilal Chhotalal, known for creating Nita’s rare yellow diamond necklace and Isha’s large pink diamond, the sarpech is a masterpiece. Kantilal Chhotalal shared on Instagram that Nita meticulously designed the sarpech using solitaires from her personal collection accumulated over the years.
The sarpech is adorned with exquisite heirloom stones, including rare pigeon blood Burmese rubies and baguette-cut diamonds. The rubies evoke a Mughal grandeur, while the baguette diamonds add an Art Deco touch. Anant wore the sarpech as a headpiece during the baraat and later as a brooch at the wedding. The piece also features a clasp in the shape of a peacock motif, reflecting Anant’s commitment to wildlife conservation.
Anant complemented the sarpech with diamond buttons on his kurta, also from Kantilal Chhotalal, encircled with rubies, rose cuts, and seven strands of meticulously graded diamond beads.
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, was born on April 10, 1995, in Mumbai. He has two older siblings, Isha and Akash Ambani. Anant attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School and graduated from Brown University.
Anant and Radhika Merchant’s wedding took place in Mumbai as a grand affair, with the couple tying the knot on July 12. The festivities included Shubh Aashirwad and reception events on July 13 and 14, attended by numerous celebrities, industry leaders, and global personalities.
