She recalled how her 90-year-old mother became emotional upon learning that Nita had been invited to speak at Harvard—a dream she once had but couldn’t afford to pursue. “Today, in the morning, my mother called my daughters-in-law, Shloka and Radhika, and said, ‘When Nita was young, we couldn’t afford to send her to Harvard, though she wanted to. But now, they have invited her to speak there.’”
