American singer and Priyanka Chopra’s husband, Nick Jonas, might feel like the ‘coolest’ man in the world while on stage, but at home, he is just a father to his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Malti Marie Jonas.
While she remains unaware of her father’s stardom, Nick prefers it that way, as he enjoys playing ‘Moana and Maui’ with her.
Speaking to People Magazine at JONASCON, Nick talked about being a ‘girl dad‘. “The best part about being a dad for me, and balancing things like this work stuff – and this is hardly work – is that you could feel like your coolest self on top of the world, and she just doesn’t care at all,” Jonas said.
He continued, “She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and that means more to me than anything else. That time with her is precious, and the fact that I’m just ‘Dad’ when I’m home means a lot.”
Nick recently shared a glimpse of what it feels like to be a ‘girl dad’, posting a picture of himself wearing Malti’s hair bows and a flower clip. Sharing the picture on Instagram, the 32-year-old singer wrote, “Girl dad life (sic).”
