Kangana Ranaut has made her first social media post following the news of her decision to sell her Mumbai bungalow. On Sunday, it was reported that Kangana’s home, partially demolished by the BMC in September 2020, is now up for sale.
Although Kangana has not directly addressed the sale, she shared a quote by Sun Tzu on social media: “An evil man will burn his own nation to the ground to rule over the ashes.” Along with the quote, she wrote, “If someone is willing to destroy the nation through casteism for power, remember that they would not hesitate to rule over the ruins. Beware.” The reason behind Kangana’s post remains unclear.
Kangana has been focused on her political career since winning a Lok Sabha seat from Mandi in June 2024. She is frequently seen in the Rajya Sabha and recently discussed the budget and relief efforts for the cloudburst-affected Kullu area in an exclusive interview with CNN News18.
In the meantime, reports indicate that Kangana’s bungalow in Bandra’s Pali Hill area, which also houses her production company, Manikarnika Films, is up for sale. The rumor originated from a YouTube channel called Code Estate, which posted a video about a production office for sale. Although the video did not specify the production house or its owner, the visuals suggested it was Kangana’s office. The bungalow is reportedly listed for Rs 40 crore, although News18 could not confirm this information at the time of publication.
The video description noted that the property includes the land it sits on, with a plot size of 285 square meters and a built-up area of 3,042 square feet. It also features an additional 500 square feet of parking space. The two-story building is priced at Rs 40 crore.
