Jasprit Bumrah, India’s Fast Bowler, and Wife Sanjana Ganesan Mark Third Wedding Anniversary Today on March 15.

India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan are celebrating their third wedding anniversary today, March 15. Currently, Bumrah is preparing for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Their journey began during the 2013-14 edition of the T20 tournament when Bumrah, in his debut season, met Sanjana, who was interviewing players as part of the official broadcaster. Bumrah has been associated with the Mumbai Indians team throughout his IPL career.
On their third anniversary, the Mumbai Indians franchise extended their wishes to the couple through a heartfelt social media post. They shared a photo of Bumrah and Sanjana on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption expressing their best wishes.

After first meeting during the 2013 IPL, Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan gradually developed a friendship. However, after getting married, Bumrah once admitted that they initially misunderstood each other as being arrogant and didn’t interact much.

Their romantic journey officially began in 2019 when Sanjana, a former TV presenter, traveled to England to cover the ICC ODI World Cup. After dating for nearly two years, they exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Goa in March 2021.

In September last year, Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan welcomed their first child, Angad, while Bumrah was away in Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup. He rushed back to be with his wife before a group match against Nepal.

Sharing the joyous news on social media, Bumrah expressed his happiness for the newest addition to their family and their excitement for the journey ahead.

Heading into the 2024 IPL, Jasprit Bumrah showcased his prowess during a recent Test series against England. Despite spinners dominating the series, Bumrah exhibited his skill on home turf, finishing as the third-highest wicket-taker after Ravichandran Ashwin and Tom Hartley, with 19 wickets in four matches, including a five-wicket haul.
