“Excitement Builds as Kangana Ranaut’s *Emergency* Trailer Launches; Film Set for September 2024 Release”

The trailer for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film *Emergency* has finally been released. On Wednesday, the actress posted the trailer on her Instagram story, generating significant excitement among viewers.

Set against the backdrop of India in 1975, the film depicts the period when an emergency was declared in the country. Kangana portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in this political drama.

In addition to Kangana, *Emergency* features Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade, among others. Shreyas Talpade plays Atal Bihari Vajpayee, while Anupam Kher takes on the role of Jayaprakash Narayan. The late actor Satish Kaushik will be seen as Jagjivan Ram, the former Deputy Prime Minister of India.

The trailer has sparked considerable enthusiasm online, with many fans expressing their eagerness to see the film. Reactions include comments like, “Kangana is back,” and “Blockbuster in loading.”

Kangana Ranaut first announced *Emergency* in 2021 but later clarified that while the film is a political drama, it is not a biopic of Indira Gandhi. Kangana not only stars in the film but also serves as its director.

Earlier today, Kangana shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about her experience as a filmmaker. She expressed her joy about seeing her vision come to life and emphasized the personal satisfaction of storytelling. “Today is a very special day, on the trailer launch of my directorial *Emergency* the journey of Emergency from me to you begins. I can’t be happier a piece of me will live in the world long after I am gone. Happy to extend myself to you all, waiting to be a part of you all, nothing is more intimate than telling a story,” she wrote.

*Emergency* has faced several delays but is now set for release on September 6, 2024.
