Singer Diljit Dosanjh, known for his collaboration with British artist Ed Sheeran where he made Sheeran sing in Punjabi for the first time during a concert in Mumbai, shared fresh glimpses of their time together.
Taking to Instagram, Diljit shared new photos of himself with the international star, showcasing their bond.
In the images, Diljit sported a denim jacket paired with a black t-shirt, denim pants, and an orange turban, while Ed Sheeran opted for a casual attire.
The latter part of the post displayed the duo commanding the concert stage in Mumbai.
Captioning the images, Diljit expressed his gratitude towards Ed Sheeran, writing, “@teddysphotos – Learnt so Much From such a Beautiful Soul.”
The concert was part of Diljit’s Asia and Europe Tour, where he performed alongside other renowned Indian artists.
During the concert, Diljit had Ed sing the hit track ‘Lover’ in Punjabi along with him.
Recently, Diljit shared a clip on Instagram showcasing Ed singing in Punjabi for the first time, captioned, “@teddysphotos Brother Singing in PANJABI for the First Time. BURRAAAA Chak deya Ge.”
Ed also shared a video of their performance, expressing his excitement about singing in Punjabi for the first time during his India visit.
Meanwhile, in the acting realm, Diljit Dosanjh is preparing for ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ alongside Parineeti Chopra, directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film portrays the untold true story of Punjab’s original rockstar who rose from poverty to fame in the 80s through his music, facing opposition that ultimately led to his assassination at 27.
‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ is set to premiere on Netflix from April 12.
