It’s time to indulge in nostalgia with beloved Bollywood classics like Shah Rukh Khan’s “Baazigar,” Akshay Kumar’s “Khiladi,” and others, as they prepare to hit the theaters once again as part of the Retro Film Festival.
Cinepolis, a leading multiplex chain, is set to showcase these timeless gems across 25 theaters from March 22 to March 28.
The lineup includes iconic films such as Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer “Baazigar,” Akshay Kumar’s “Khiladi,” and the duo’s entertaining flick “Main Khiladi Tu Anari” from 1994.
“Baazigar,” directed by Abbas-Mustan, is renowned for its compelling storyline and Shah Rukh Khan’s portrayal of an anti-hero, captivating audiences since its release in 1993.
Kajol shared her excitement for the film’s re-release on Instagram, inviting fans to relive the magic of Bollywood’s golden era together.
Meanwhile, “Khiladi,” released in 1992 and also directed by Abbas Mastan, follows the journey of four friends entangled in a murder mystery during a vacation.
“Main Khiladi Tu Anari,” a 1994 action-comedy directed by Sameer Malkan, stars Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles, promising laughter and entertainment.
The Retro Film Festival at Cinepolis follows the trend of Nostalgia Film Festival by PVR-INOX last month, and celebrates the cinematic legacies of Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, and Dilip Kumar with dedicated film festivals on their respective birthdays last year.
