TV actor Ankit Gupta has officially withdrawn from the highly anticipated show *Terre Ho Jaayein Hum*, where he was expected to reunite with his rumored former girlfriend, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
This development comes amid rising speculation about their relationship, especially after fans noticed that the duo had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
In an interview with *Bollywood Bubble*, Gupta explained his decision to step away from the Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta production. He shared, “Yes, I opted out of the project with Ravi-Sargun. At this moment, I don’t think I can fully commit to it. I feel I need some time to rest and recharge. That’s also why I won’t be participating in *Khatron Ke Khiladi* this year. Right now, I’m focusing on myself rather than work.”
Gupta’s departure marks a significant change for Dreamiyata Drama, the new channel launched by Dubey and Mehta. Last month, the production house had announced that the *Udaariyaan* lead pair would star in their upcoming show, generating excitement among fans. However, with Gupta stepping back, reports suggest Priyanka will now be paired with a different lead actor.
Ankit and Priyanka first gained popularity as an on-screen couple in *Udaariyaan*, where their chemistry won over audiences. Their bond continued on *Bigg Boss 16*, though they consistently maintained they were just friends. Post-*Bigg Boss*, they collaborated on multiple music videos, further fueling dating rumors.
Despite their recent Instagram activity sparking breakup speculations, neither actor has publicly addressed their relationship status. However, they have not deleted any of their pictures together from the platform.
