Ananya Panday’s cousin, Ahaan Panday, is preparing to enter Bollywood with a romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, although the film’s title remains undisclosed.
Ahaan, who is the nephew of actor Chunky Panday, joined YRF Talent five years ago, undergoing rigorous training programs designed by Aditya Chopra.
According to sources, Ahaan’s development has been personally overseen by Aditya Chopra, with YRF keeping his progress low-key to allow him to focus on honing his skills.
Ahaan’s debut is anticipated to be one of the most significant in recent years, with YRF aiming to establish him as a star through his involvement in Mohit Suri’s ambitious project.
The decision to cast Ahaan was made after Mohit Suri evaluated his suitability for the lead role in the romantic drama and was impressed by his auditions and screen tests.
The film, which marks the first production venture of CEO Akshaye Widhani, is scheduled to commence filming in 2024. YRF has previously launched several notable actors into the industry, including Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, and Ayushmann Khurrana.
