Anant Ambani took the stage at the Jamnagar refinery’s 25th-anniversary event, delivering a speech filled with gratitude, vision, and a strong commitment to sustainability. Speaking to Reliance employees, executives, and their families, Anant honored his late grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani, whose strategic thinking transformed Jamnagar into a global industrial hub. He also expressed gratitude to his parents, Mukesh and Nita Ambani, for continuing Dhirubhai’s legacy after his passing.
Anant shared how proud he was to carry forward the legacies of such influential figures like his grandfather and father. He vowed to live up to their expectations by turning their dreams and visions into reality. He also emphasized that Jamnagar would play a vital role in the country’s future, stating: “When the nation celebrates its 100th independence, Jamnagar will be contributing its best.”
Among the audience was Radhika Merchant, who could be seen watching her husband with admiration. Seated in the crowd, she looked on with pride as Anant spoke. She wore a purple outfit with intricate embroidery, complemented by a teal and lavender shawl adorned with floral patterns. Radhika kept her accessories minimal with a pendant necklace and went for a natural makeup look, with a glowing base, kohl-rimmed eyes, and nude lipstick. Her loose hair added to her elegant yet simple appearance. However, her most striking accessory was the smile of sheer pride as she looked at her husband.
During his speech, Anant Ambani also took the opportunity to highlight Reliance’s “We Care” initiative, emphasizing his passion for animals and the environment. He spoke about the Vantara mission, which demonstrates Reliance’s commitment to protecting animals and birds as much as it cares for people. Anant credited his mother, Nita Ambani, for nurturing his love for nature, saying, “The way my mother has instilled the love for Mother Nature, similarly, Vantara inspires everyone to love birds and animals.”
