Superstar Nagarjuna Shares Heartwarming Moments from Son Akhil Akkineni’s Wedding
Superstar Nagarjuna and his family recently posted charming photos from the wedding of his son, Akhil Akkineni, which was held at their Hyderabad residence on Friday.
Akhil tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Zainab Ravdjee, in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony attended by several celebrities, including Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, and Naga Chaitanya.
Nagarjuna took to X (formerly Twitter) to share glimpses of the couple, Akhil and Zainab, performing the sacred rituals. One photo showed the Akkineni family—Akhil, Amala Akkineni, and Nagarjuna—actively participating in the wedding rites.
For the ceremony, Akhil chose a classic white shirt, while Zainab looked elegant in an ivory saree complemented by diamond jewellery.
In his post, Nagarjuna wrote, “With immense joy, Amala and I are thrilled to share that our beloved son Akhil has married his love, Zainab, in a beautiful ceremony at our home (3:35 am). Surrounded by love, laughter, and our closest ones, a dream came true. We seek your blessings as they begin this new chapter. With love and gratitude.”
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who joined the Akkineni family earlier this year after marrying Naga Chaitanya, also welcomed Zainab with a sweet Instagram post. She shared a picture with the newlyweds, writing, “Welcome to the family dear Z. Congratulations to the newlyweds.”
This joyful occasion comes about six months after Akhil announced his engagement to Zainab via Instagram, saying, “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”
This marks the second wedding in Nagarjuna’s family recently, following the marriage of his elder son, Naga Chaitanya, to actress Sobhita Dhulipala last year in a similar traditional Telugu ceremony.
