“Trevor Noah to Showcase Grammy Magic: 2024 Awards Set for a Hilarious and Unforgettable Host!”

Trevor Noah is set to host the 2024 Grammy Awards, marking his fourth consecutive year at the helm. The comedian confirmed his return during an episode of his podcast, “What Now? with Trevor Noah,” a month after the Recording Academy unveiled its nominee list. Scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the Grammys will air live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

SZA leads the Grammy nominations with nine nods, followed by Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea, and Victoria Monét with seven. Other notable nominees include Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.

Trevor Noah, a comedian and bestselling author, initially rose to prominence as the former host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.” Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he moved to the U.S., earning acclaim and two Emmy Awards. Noah first hosted the Grammys in 2021 and has returned each year since.

Reflecting on hosting the Grammys, Noah acknowledged the unpredictability and nervousness associated with the live event. He shared his perspective on the delicate balance of comedy, especially when dealing with superstar nominees like Taylor Swift. Despite the challenges, Noah expressed excitement about the spontaneous nature of the Grammys.

Beyond his Grammy hosting role, Trevor Noah is known for succeeding Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show” from 2015 to 2022. Before his tenure on the show, he held various roles in South Africa, including a late-night talk show host. Noah also lent his voice to the movies “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
