Taylor Swift made a Sunday night announcement about her upcoming studio album scheduled for release on April 19. The revelation of “The Tortured Poets Department” came during her acceptance speech at the 66th Grammy Awards, where she clinched the Best Pop Vocal Album for “Midnights.”
Shortly after her speech, Swift shared a black and white album cover on her Instagram, accompanied by what seemed to be handwritten lyrics containing verses like, “And so I enter into evidence / My tarnished coat of arms / My muses, acquired like bruises / My talismans and charms / The tick, tick, tick of love bombs / My veins of pitch black ink.”
