Popular YouTuber and motivational speaker Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as “Beer Biceps,” shared a shocking near-death experience on Instagram on Wednesday. He detailed how he and his rumored girlfriend, actress Nikki Sharma, were swept away by a strong underwater current while swimming at a beach in Goa.
The incident took place on Christmas Eve around 6:00 PM during a seemingly casual swim in the open ocean. Ranveer, who has been swimming in the sea since his childhood, explained that the powerful current overwhelmed them, leaving both him and Nikki struggling to stay afloat.
Ranveer shared, “This has happened to me before, but never with a companion.” He added, “It’s easier to get out of such a situation alone, but it’s incredibly difficult to pull someone else to safety.”
As the situation grew more dangerous, the couple called for help and were saved by a family of five, including an IPS officer and his wife, an IRS officer, who happened to be nearby in the water.
Describing the terrifying experience, Ranveer recalled, “At one point, I swallowed a lot of water and started to lose consciousness. That’s when I shouted for help.”
Expressing his gratitude, Ranveer called the experience life-changing. He said, “We felt God’s protection throughout the ordeal. It feels like this one experience has completely changed my perspective on life.”
Rumors about Ranveer and Nikki’s relationship have been circulating since earlier this year, fueled by their social media posts, which hinted at their connection. Although Ranveer did not mention Nikki by name in his emotional post, earlier reports have connected her to his spiritual journeys and trips.
Nikki Sharma, known for her roles in TV shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti, is said to share a deep spiritual bond with Ranveer.
Ending his post on a heartfelt note, Ranveer expressed gratitude for life and shared a prayer for the future, saying, “We survived for a reason! Merry Christmas to all of you and your families. Thank you, God, for life!”
