Actor Kartik Aaryan, currently overseas, is celebrating India’s 78th Independence Day in his unique way.
On Instagram, Kartik posted a photo of himself walking down the street with the Indian flag in the background. Dressed in a suit and smiling proudly, he shared his heartfelt message with his followers.
He captioned the photo, “Happy 78th Independence Day to my Motherland! Even though I am miles away, the spirit, strength, and pride of India are felt wherever I am. Bharat is more than just a name; it’s a feeling that fills our hearts with pride. Jai Hind.”
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the occasion by hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort in New Delhi for the 11th consecutive year, making him only the third Prime Minister to achieve this feat after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. The theme for this year’s Independence Day, “Viksit Bharat @ 2047,” highlights the government’s goal to develop India into a fully developed nation by 2047.
In his professional life, Kartik has recently completed filming for *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film promises to be an exciting addition to the franchise, featuring Triptii Dimri alongside Kartik. Scheduled for release during Diwali 2024, the film also marks the return of Vidya Balan, who previously played the iconic role of Manjulika in the 2007 hit.
Kartik expressed his enthusiasm about Vidya Balan’s return on Instagram, saying, “It’s happening. OG Manjulika is coming back to the world of *Bhool Bhulaiyaa*. Thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be amazing! #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”
The *Bhool Bhulaiyaa* series, known for its mix of psychological horror and comedy, started with Priyadarshan’s direction and continued with Anees Bazmee for the sequels. Kartik’s future projects include *Captain India*, adding to his diverse filmography.
