When Deepika Padukone expressed her love for Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were in a relationship for about two years before breaking up in 2009, a period they openly shared with the public.

Today, both actors have achieved considerable success in their careers and have found stability in their personal lives. Ranbir Kapoor is now married to Alia Bhatt and they have a daughter named Raha Kapoor. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are anticipating the birth of their first child later this year, with Deepika currently in her third trimester of pregnancy. Known for her outspoken nature, Deepika has been vocal about various issues, including mental health and gender equality. She has also spoken candidly about her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor, describing it as a challenging phase in her life. On an episode of “Koffee With Karan,” Deepika revealed that the breakup was particularly tough because their relationship had become her entire world after she moved to the city. The experience taught her valuable lessons and contributed to her personal growth, a sentiment that Ranbir Kapoor himself has echoed.

Her upcoming project includes Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again,” where she will play the first lady cop in Shetty’s cop universe, alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff.

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal,” an action thriller also starring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri. His upcoming projects include Nitesh Tiwari’s “Ramayana” and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Love & War,” where he will share the screen with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
