Ranbir Kapoor‘s upcoming project, Ramayana, has garnered significant attention since its announcement. Although the formal casting has not been confirmed, there is speculation that Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Rama. Television star Ravie Dubey is expected to play the role of Lord Lakshman, with Sai Pallavi taking on the role of Queen Sita.
Indira Krishnan, who will play Kaushalya in the film, tweeted a picture of Ravie Dubey from the sets of this grand production. She praised Ravie as one of the most modest actors she has ever met, accompanying the compliment with the photo. Indira also humorously reminded Ravie not to forget the location next time they meet.
Ravie Dubey, known for his roles in TV shows like Jamai Raja, will be portraying Lakshman in Ramayana. He has also ventured into production with the television series Udaariyan, starring Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Isha Malviya.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features Yash from KGF as Ravana, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravie Dubey in the roles of Ram, Sita, and Lakshman respectively. Additionally, Sunny Deol is reportedly set to portray Lord Hanuman, with Rakulpreet Singh playing Surpanakha.
